1/ Giới thiệu sơ qua về Smart Definitions & Normal Definitions :

Smart Definitions là để so sánh với Normal Definitions. Normal Definitions nghĩa là định danh virus theo kiểu cũ còn Smart Definitions nghĩa là định danh virus theo kiểu mới.

Smart Definitions sẽ không bao gồm các virus quá cũ không còn hoạt động trong cơ sở dữ liệu hoặc những virus ko hoạt động trong môi trường Windows. Điều này sẽ làm cho dung lượng lần đầu khi Live Update nếu dùng Smart Definitions nhỏ hơn nhiều so với Normal Definitions. Tuy nhiên từ lần Live Update thứ 2 trở đi thì dung lượng update của chúng là như nhau vì cùng update các dữ liệu mới và các dữ liệu cũ không được update nữa.

2/ Update database khi bật Smart Definitions :

+ Dung lượng update database ~55 MB...

+ Cách thực hiện : Mở giao diện NIS lên chọn Settings, tại khung Smart Definitions chọn On xong rồi chạy Live Update :

3/ Update database khi tắt Smart Definitions (Normal Definitions) :

+ Dung lượng updata database ~95 MB...

+ Cách thực hiện : Mở giao diện NIS lên chọn Settings, tại khung Smart Definitions chọn Off xong rồi chạy Live Update :

(Dành cho bạn nào xài Dial Up hoặc thuê bao ADSL theo lưu lượng sử dụng)
